I have to write long equation in my research paper which covers more than one line and in which one or more starting bracket(s) and the corresponding ending brackets are not in the same line of the equation. I want to write my paper in latex format but do not have right code to split that equation.
You can use multline, to write in multiple lines. For the unbalanced brackets, you can use ,\big, \Big(, \Bigg(, etc.
Here an example (\\ to break a new line):

split environment can be used. else, "aligned" environment can be used along with "\left(" and "\right)" for brackets.
If the brackets are of same size , you can just break the equation with \\ in eqnarray environment.
If the you are using \left and \right in the same environment you can use \phantom command that allows you to break the equations wherever necessary.
Start with (\left \right. To break line \\ .\left \right). You can use (), {} or []
