I am doing a project about hearing aid usage with adult patients and I need to be able to analyse the results I have taken from their GHABP. I am not sure how i can use this numerical data to help me in my analysis of results.
I agree with Mark: the way you answer a question depends on the nature of the question and of the data. However, the SPSS has some good help in the help function. "Statistics Coach" will take you step by step to an appropriate analysis. "Case Studies" will take you step by step through a particular analysis if you know what type of analysis you want to do.
I want to add something to my previous comment: Plan A will be to consult a statistician! However, if you want to DIY, you may want to consult the following e-book which can be downloaded free:

There are many statistics books available on this site, but I recommend this one:
SPSS Statistics Short and Simple ( by Sidney Tyrrell)
I am planning on taking scores from the Glasgow hearind aid benefit profile to look at usage, benefit and satisfaction of hearing aids of the patients that have been fitted with them. The scores will come from each of the 6 categories of the ghab as my data. I want to be able to compare the scores so was wondering if SPSS can help me to do so in a statistical method.
