For the FRP strengthened RC beam, I want to calculate concrete strain and FRP strain separately. There are so many strain functions i.e. first principle, second principle etc. but How can i get axial strain of concrete and FRP in ANSYS ? I have modelled concrete and FRP as solid 65 and shell181.

If the elements are meshed along the axial direction, you can try the comand "RSYS,solu" to obtain the strain results in axial direction.

Under solutions menu on left hand side, check-mark the relevant directional strain and deformation, and try the analysis again. If the FRP axes don't coincide with the universal axes, you can go for vectorial summation.
