I was able to recently draw a supposedly new geometric fractal analogous to Sierpinski's triangle. But I do not know how to draw/generate the fractal say after a thousands times iteration. I also want to see how the picture will look after infinite number of iterations. the idea is; take a square and color it, draw a line diagonally from the top right corner to the bottom left, here you will have two triangles then you will removed the bottom triangle while in the upper triangle you should find/draw a square and keep repeating the process continuously. Please is there anyone who could help with this?
I use Inkscape (free software) to generate fractals. And, just 12-13 iterations is enough to get the desired result. If you need more you will probably need a computer with a fast CPU and enormous RAM.
Other option would be to use GPU computing for very large order of iterations and then use specialised softwares such as Paraview to view them.
What you have here is an Iterated Function System (IFS). You need to encode your fractal as a set of affine transformations, then you can use these transformations to plot the fractal itself.

Ultrafractal is also a good interactive software to draw complex fractal images but it's a paid software. This software comes with manual and sample code to understand the basics. You can try that as well.
