Hi,

I have a problem with a hight contet of mucopolysaccharides in some molluscan samples. I tried different DNA extration procolols but I can't already remove all the molecules that inhibit PCR reactions and I'm studying other solution. I see a treatment of rice seed samples with alpha amylase to remove these type of molecules. I'd like to know if someone uses this enzyme in animal samples and what quantitive I have to use (mg/ml).
