After the DNA extraction I dissolve it in DNA dissolving buffer (TE buffer pH8.0) after one or two months the DNA degraded..so what is the possible solution to stop the DNA from the degradation for a long time?

You can try to store it in -20C and avoid freeze-thawing your DNA to prevent degradation. My DNA sample can remain stable for more than 4 months by keeping it frozen. And make sure your TE buffer is made with DNase free water as well.

I agree with Renardi. We have also same experience keeping in -20 ºC. To avoid problem,we separated in several tubes to avoid defrozen effect. We coud have good quality even for 6 month
Depending on the size of the DNA fragments you are interested in, you can store it at 4C indefinitely. My lab stores it this way and we can sequence it even after several years still. But yes, -20C in single-use (or minimal-use) aliquots is a better method. I do suggest thawing them in an ice bath though.

Right. After extraction, my lab stores the genomic DNA at 4C indefinitely. We can still use the genomic DNA for PCR reactions for sequencing and other non-PCR-dependent technologies such as arrays.
In lab, we made extraction and the first pcr (to bacteria). After 6 month, the results were different. It´s difficult find papers about this question.
