In some cases when I use black oil model the software stops solving the problem and warns that the pressure is beyond the range. I activated the slug tracking and problem is solved but when I want to run the pig there is a problem. how can I find out the cause of this error?

Hi.
Actually I have a sealine profile and want to simulate a pigging process through this line. I dont have PVT data of the fluid which enter to this line. So I used a black oil model as I knew the GOR, BS&W and Sp.g, . when I run the project in steady state every thing is ok. when I m shifting to dynamic mode, I have to activate the slug tracking to reach the results, but when I add a pig to the system ( by the way I have to deactivate the slug tracking to run the pig) the project did not solve completely. during the calculations it seems calculated pressure and temperature in some increments fall beyond the ranges and calculation stops before the pig reach the end point of the sealine. Now I need to find out how can I overcome this problem.

In cases that you receive an error because thepressure or temperature is out of range, you need to extend the range of T and P in your PVT table. You can do it by PVTSim software or Multiflash.
