Currently I am using the promising method called chemical vapor deposition (CVD) to synthesize large area Single-layer graphene (SLG) and few-layer graphene (FLG) films on metal substrates (thin and thick Cu). However, graphene grown on a metal substrate needs to be transferred onto dielectric substrates for further characterization and to use it for electrical applications. And I am using the well-known and the most widely used transfer approach called wet etching and transfer. Unfortunately, this transfer process is not just only inconvenient but also causes various chemical and mechanical defects, like small cracks, and holes in the transferred graphene layer. Therefore, I am wondering that whether can I grow graphene directly on flexible organic /dielectric substrates in large scale (10/45mm size) or not. So, here I am Asking, How can I directly grow large area single and few layer graphene on flexible organic /dielectric substrates, such as Si, SiO2/Si at low temperature?
