I am currently trying to develop a system that will automatically track single particles. I know this has been done before as I am using TrackPy to accomplish this. Specifically, I am examining virus interaction with cells by tracking the virus.
The issue that I have is that I am wondering if it is possible for the computer to differentiate between two fluorescent channels. I know TrackPy can track the two channels separately, but is it possible to track both channels together in order to see the intensities for both channels in one particle?

Thanks for the quick answer; however, I wasn't able to find anything in those articles about tracking with multiple channels. To clarify my question, I am wondering if there is a way to track particles that store the brightness for two separate channels for one particle. For example, it would be helpful to see how some particles have a dip in one channel when the other channel spikes.
