The molecular weight of Lamivudine is 229.29 g/mol
Hello Ronita De
229.29g ---- 1 L ---- 1M
229.29 mg ------ 1L ---- 1mM
Make a 1mM stock solution of Lamivudine by dissolving 2.292 mg of Lamivudine in10ml DMSO.
Use C1 x V1 = C2 X V2
Where C1= Concentration of Lamivudine = 2292ug
V1= Xml
C2= Required concentration (100 ug)
V2= Required volume (1ml)
2292ug x X = 100ug x 1ml
Therefore X= 0.04363ml
Add 43.63ul of stock (1mM) to 956.37ul of culture media to give 100ug of Lamivudine per ml culture media.
Best.
