The Nano Zno aqueous slurry has a 2.5% concentraion and a pH of 9-11 range. I would like to separate the water from the nano particles.
You can try add to your suspension penthanoic, hexanoic acid or larger organic hydrophobic alkyl acids. ZnO caped nanoparticles would be floating from water media and could be separated by organic apolar solvents.
I hope you reach a good separation!
mauro
you can use centrifuge (max rpm for 20-30 min), decant liquid, dry the pellet on air.
I am a final year Msc. Applied Statistics student. For my project I need a topic and a research paper related to the topic. Please guide me.
