I'm try to extract DNA from ascetic fluid but unfortunately I get low DNA yield even when I used centrifugation and different types from DNA extraction kit
Hi there can you please be more specific as what type of DNA you want to extract i.e. DNA of any pathogen that you suspect or from any cells that you think might be present there.
Well in any case I think that if you filter your sample fluid through 0.2 Micron Filter paper so that you can retain whatever cells are there.
After that you can use that filter paper as your starting material for DNA extraction.

Hi, i agree with the previous comment. could you specify what kind of organism that you want to be extracted? In my opinion, if you're already done by using DNA extraction kit and your DNA yield was very low, you should check the minimum amount of the cell related to the kit that you used. Then, make sure you follow the protocol completely. Good luck :)
