The compound is very insoluble in aqueous solution and the compound administration will be given orally. The compound manufacturer has no information regarding the solubility of the compound. From experience, I know that it is soluble in DMSO but the maximum concentration I get in this solvent does not allow use in animals (due to toxicity).

Dear Steven, we tried Tween but it wasnt enough. We would avoid vegetable oil because it would interfere with our target but I believe that we will not have another alternative (I was woundering mineral oil but I believe that as it passes through the intestine without absorption, the drug could be excreted rather than absorbed). In any case, thank you very much for the ideas. Dear Esmat, which organic solvent do you suggest?
