We never really know how long reagents can last after the manufacturer's expiry date. Reagents with biological content are probably more sensitive but I've had good experiences with reagents being OK to use years after the expiry date. You may not have the same experience. The shipping condition for TRIzol indicates room temp, I wouldn't be surprised to see that it works fine. Be careful if there were additives added, they may have evaporated and you always need to consider what needs to be made fresh.
Trizol LS should be stored at temperatures between 2-8°C (refrigerated). At room temperature, the stability of Trizol LS is significantly reduced. It is recommended to avoid storing it at room temperature for prolonged periods. For optimal performance and longevity, it is best to follow the manufacturer's instructions and store Trizol LS in the recommended temperature range.
