As you know, colorimetric tests based on gold nanoparticles and aptamer is very simple, and the result can be inspected by the naked eye ,but the different components of biological fluids (proteins, salts, etc.) could hinder the dispersion/aggregation of AuNPs, resulting in a lower sensitivity and selectivity of detection.

I wanted to know is there any ways to prevent false positives and increase the sensitivity of the test?
