After making contact pair of specimen as target and indenter as contact, the ANSYS shows that "The resulting initial contact stiffness 0.80549E+18 which is too big and can cause accuracy problem". also, I am not getting converged solution. Can anybody knows how to model nano indentation test in ANSYS APDL.
got the solution, we have to modify FKN value of contact element such that it will lower the value of maximum contact stiffness. But Actually i don't know what penalty stiffness means?
In my point of view, Abaqus is a good software for nanoindentation simulation. It is user-friendly software. If you are interested, you can use Abaqus. However, simulating nanoindentation experiments are not straight forward. You need to some experiments. For more details go through below links. These articles might be helpful in simulations.

thank you sir, I simulated the nano-indentation but I do not know how to calculate hardness from the simulated result. I am getting the answer by one tenth of actual result.
