Thank you very much, Denis. This is an interesting paper. Will you be able to help out for the code in ANSYS, in case we could not get results.? Actually I worked on PZ Flex earlier, but now have ANSYS available in my institution.
Yes, I have used ANSYS APDL model to simulate piezoelectric material. You can go with SOLID 5 or SOLID 226 piezoelectric element and can proceed further by giving the desired input materials properties (dielectric constants, piezoelectric strain matrix, density and anisotropic elastic constants). While in modeling stage you need choose couple DOF option which is available right there in APDL GUI under modeling option. Finally input all the loads, BC and load step data to get your desired output. I would suggest the Youtube videos by Dr. Shailesh Dharmadhikari.
We are very thankful to Sailesh Adhikari sir for posting those videos. Sir, I have a query that, when we run the same model, conductance (output) is coming in power of -7 whereas, in some research papers who have used the same model, conductance values are not much small.
Question- Can you talk about the unit system? Why it is coming in power of -7 in your video?
