Has anyone tried to publish an article in ACI or ASCE journal? Can you share your experience with us? What's special about these journals? Why is it difficult to publish an article in such journals?

Why is it difficult to publish an article in such journals? This is because both of these journals are JCR indexed and Q1 category journal with high impact factor. So to maintain their quality they only accept very state of the art research. Apart from that, journals associated with ACI/ASCE are reputed and has long history of publishing quality research! I think this gives you enough idea why it's difficult to publish over there.
It is not difficult for good paper to be published there. Take care of the quality of your manuscript, choose a new good idea, write the manuscript well and go on
