Arabic Language has more than 12 millions words which is 4 and 8 times compared to those of French and English, respectively. It is used by 300 millions people throughout the world and is an official language for United nations. In addition, in the past, it was the most used as a scientific language for sciences development before its deterioration at present.

As for the number of words, this is a very relative characteristic of the language. For example, the "Big Academic Dictionary of the Russian language" contains about 150,000 words, and the "Explanatory Dictionary of the living Great Russian language" (Dahl' dictionary) contains 200,000 words (we have enough for life...). But in reality, the average person knows no more than 10,000 words, and uses no more than 2,000. Many use everyday about thousand words, or little bit less. Even the greatest writers do not use the entire vocabulary of the language. For example, well-known Russian poet and writer A.S. Pushkin used in his masterpieses only 25000 words, and L. Tolstoy little bit more...

Arabic is at least 1,500 years old
Classical Arabic originated in the sixth century, but earlier versions of the language existed, including the Safaitic dialect, an old Arabic dialect used by the pre-Islamic nomadic inhabitants of the Syro-Arabian desert. Some of its inscriptions date back to the first century.
