How was it prepared, type of bead its size, time of incubation .. could someone throw some light on it
Autologous serum is a serum gotten from the patient that is donor is also the recipient
The blood is collected by using a sterile 5ml syringe 23G/24G needle
The blood collection site is clean with aseptic swab ,
The blood is collected and stored in sterile container at 4© for 10 to 12hour allowing the blood to clot,
The blood is then centrifugal at 4000-4500rpm for 10-15minutes dilute with normal saline to for 20% to 50% dilution ratio
Canine Autologous serum is serum gotten from dog that donor dog is also the recipient of serum to be prepared
The blood is draw aseptically from the dog by sterilizing the blood collecting site with alcohol sterile swab,
The collected blood in store in sterile plain sample bottle and allow to clot for 10-12 hours at 4©
The blood is then centrifuge at 4000-4500rpm for 10_15minute
The serum is collected and dilute in ratio 1:5 with sterile normal saline to for 20% solution or ratio 1:2 for 50% solution
