Has anyone observed distortion of the phytolite structure upon introduction of heavy metals?

Have you an idea between Phytolite structure in relation to heavy metals?

My observations show a distortion of the structure of phytolites, I like to know if you have seen this type of deformation in relation to the introduction of the metal in the structure.
