Comparing to EMEM, DMEM has four times as much of the vitamins and amino acids present in the original formula and two to four times as much glucose.

Did you check the pH of the medium?

Excellent thank you. We seemed to discover that we had none of the issues seen before when growing the cells in DMEM compared to EMEM.
