Hello,

I’m culturing primary porcine oviduct epithelial cells on 24‑well Transwell inserts (0.4 µm PET membrane- cellQART) coated with type I collagen.

Cells were seeded after thawing, and I’ve tested different seeding densities per insert, but in every case I observe extensive detachment by 72-96 hours post‑seeding.

Should I use collagen type IV instead? Do the cells not tolerate the freezing process?

I seeded thawed cells in a T‑75 flask, and they grew perfectly

Thanks for your help :)
