I have a specific Huntingtin mutant liver model and when I perfuse the liver via the portal vein, in order to dissociate and plate out primary hepatocytes, the Glisson's capsule bubbles up as if it's pulling away from the hepatocytes. Has anyone seen anything like this in any of their KO or mutant models? I have never seen anything like this in any wildtype livers.

I am usually perfusing using the two-step collagenase method in order to dissociate the hepatocytes, but this happens before any collagenase is perfused through. It also happens with both Ca/Mg-free media and media that contains Ca/Mg.
