I'm working with TIME cells, an endothelial cells immortalized. I've always used Medium 131 supplemented with microvascular endothelial cell growth and blasticidine, but this medium isn´t in stock from my supplier (3rd world problems :( ), has anybody used other type of medium for this cell line?

I have worked with many types of endothelial cells over the years. I have used DMEM with 20% FBS, MCDB-131 with 20% FBS, and MDCB-131 with growth factors. What ever you choose to try, you will have to adapt your cells to the new media, During that time you may have significant cell loss, this is normal. The cells that remain attached are the cells that you will want to further subculture. You will also need to change media more frequently so that apoptotic cells do not negatively condition the media.
