Harold, what I received from you is interesting, unfortunately, it doesn't address specific eastern-European generational transitions. From my personal observation and research there is a considerable delay - 8-15 years - between western and eastern-European generations, at least for the x-gen and Millennials - which in Romania for instance would be start more on ~1990 and not ~1980 according to Strauss-Howe.

Asta, thank you for your offer, I will indeed write to Dr. Aloderiene, hope there was/is some research done on the matter.

On the other hand, if I will be unable to find any research on it, maybe I could find colleagues interested in conducting one ourselves and publish. I'm probably hardly the only one interested in this particular topic.

During the past two years I have been developing a new cycle theory based on the Strauss-Howe generational theory, and the name is generational hormone theory. I've found a lot of statistical evidence to support the theory, which is that it's actually an 80-year generational hormone cycle. (As for your observation, Claudiu, that the eastern-European generations are about 15 years delayed, you're absolutely right, and the proxy statistics for oxytocin show this. The lowest point for presumed oxytocin levels in the Western nations was close to 1975, but in Russia for example it was close to 1990.)
