Setting up a new lab - and our -80C freezer will arrive after cells will need to be frozen.
Has anyone successfully frozen cells with a freezing container in a -150C freezer, rather than in a -80?
Any temperature is fine as long as you perform the freezing slowly :)
Thanks Andrew Paul McKenzie Pegman. All the commercial freezing containers state -80C. But perhaps I could place this in an outer container.
Yes, minus 80 C is best, but it doesn't matter how low, as long as it is gradual :)
