Transport of samples for NGS and degradation of DNA
I think for a good quality DNA specimen it is almost no difference to send frozen or at RT.
Everytime we have sent DNA for NGS we have sent it on dry ice (required by all of our contractors!)
I would send it frozen!
Good Luck
John
Thanks to all for their comments:)
Actually for Sanger method we usually send samples in RT .... DNA should be very very stable ..... but may be the case for NGS is different ...... but how come (DNA very very stable even in room temperature
If is RNA, freezing is mandatory
