Below is my fitted data of FL lifetime of a compound in solid state after fitting into biexponential components which shows one component to be positive amplitudes (denoted by B) and the other with negative amplitude. Is the negative amplitude part the risetime of another species from the decaying one? Any expert advise is appreciated.

How does the 0.101 units lifetime of the rizing component compares with the instrument response half time ?
Prof. Robert Bernard Pansu the FWHM of the IRF is nearly 0.15 ns. Is this observed rising time merely an error? If such, what could be the plausible explanation for the rising component?
There is a rise of teh signal during the pulse duration. An improper deconvolution of the IRF could lead to a fake rise time of the fluorescence. Hopefully the if you have an excimer this rise should be seen at other wavelength with different contribution and the same lifetime.
