As the article[1] mentions, Fe-NMR is generally never carried out because of its low sensitivity. However, the article also says Fe(II)-NMR is possible because Fe(II) is sufficiently diamagnetic. Are there any references of Fe(II)-NMR carried out for deoxy-hemoglobin or related compounds?
