I was looking at this kit, but also was a bit skeptical about it so I sent some questions to the manufacturer:

Q: Is this a peptide based on a human or mouse peptide?

A: The lab has confirmed that the antibodies are based on mouse CCP.

Q: What are the standards made of?

A: Standards in the mouse kits are made from an anti-CCP clone of mouse

immunized with CCP.

Q: Does the kit include a non-citrullinated cyclic peptide as a negative control to make sure the response it truly CCP specific?

A: Unfortunately, this kit does not include any sort negative control.

Based on this info and my own experience with detecting ACPAs I wouldn't recommend using any CCP kit that doesn't include a negative control since you probably want to know if the response is truly citrulline specific or not.

What many people instead do when they want to detect anti-CCP antibodies in mice is to use human kits (Eurodiagnostica) and simply switch the secondary antibody for an anti-mouse.

I do not have experience with that supplier, but maybe someone else has. I would recommend ebioscience ELISA's. They have many different formats from multiplexing, do-it-yourself, or premade ELISA's. They also have very good cytokine bead assays for flow cytometry if you are examining those as well. I would check it out before you purchase something you are questioning:

Avoid these ELISA kits as hell. They do not do what they are supposed to do. Also, the support service tends to fool the customer. I experienced some very disturbing problems with them not so far ago. I provided a great deal of results supporting the evidence that a couple of their ELISAs (#MBS9319478, #MBS9333819) actually do not work at all (e.g. recombinant protein being not detected, KO mice that, unaccountably, show high circulating levels, lack of associations gene expression or WBs vs. ELISA values, etc.). Their answer? Your fault, not mine! That's it. Nice, very nice.

As said before, "fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me". Then, first and last time I work with these distributors.

I just want to add my own negative experience dealing with MyBioSource. They are reselling kits made elsewhere and cannot provide any information without contact the supplier first, but will not tell you who the supplier is. For the kit I am interested in (Salmon Somatotropin), BioMatik sells the same kit and seems willing to help out. These kits (or at least the one I am interested in) is not validated and MyBioSource has been extremely unhelpful in troubleshooting the issue and refuses to aid us in validating the product. When I requested cross-reactivity data I got a copied and pasted response that cited an alignment percentage... Alignments are not guarantees (one way or the other) that a kit will work as it depends on where the sequences match up and the antibody. All I have received are canned, condescending responses about how ELISAs work and why what I want to do is not possible (all I want to do is measure somatotropin in plasma and validate the kit using recombinant proteins); in fact, it seems like their "Director of Technical Support" is really just a glorified "No Man" whose job is just to make sure the company doesn't have to refund anyone's money. 

Do not buy from them - you'll be wasting your money. At least go through BioMatik, who seems to back up their products and understands that they will sell more kits if it's validated.

We have very bad experience with this company and will never ever buy a reagent from them anymore. They sell crap and if you find out, they refuse to pay you back. Do not spend money there, it is wasted. They do not perform quality control on their products. When you buy a recombinant protein supposedly produced in HEK293 cells, it is full of bacteria ???!!!
