Hello, is anyone sharing a good, cell friendly, enzyme free cell dissociation buffer for MSCs and other stems cells? I know I can purchase ready made ones I would prefer to make my own.
I am also looking for a similar recipe, because thermo fishers cell dissociation reagent is backordered. I have contacted them and they will not give me any details. From my searches, sigma gives some components but not concentrations. I also used to culture hMSCs and used accutase instead of trypsin. A paper below concludes that Cell dissociation reagent causes a reduction in viability when culturing. Hope this helps!
Thanks,
Dale

I'm running into the same issues of backordered product. I have used versene from Gibco for over a decade. Lonza has a versene as well but as of today they had 5 bottles so that's not helpful. I couldn't get an order in today and Lonza is notorious for backorders too.
Lonza actually gives concentrations: 0.53mM EDTA in DPBS, Ca and Mg free.
