dominant markers like RAPD cannot differentiate homozygous condition from heterozygous condition while co dominant marker like SSR easily distinguishes homozygotes from heterozygotes.
Strictly speaking, ALL DNA markers are "co-dominant" since a diploid organism has to have two alleles. But your assay may or may not reveal both alleles at once. A PCR primer is a reagent and the terms dominant and co-dominant do not apply to them.
