Is xylol treatment enough to get rid of RNAse from the metal-framed membrane slides for the laser microdissection? I've been wondering if I should include an additional step to the samples preparation to make the slides RNAse free.
MMI offers Membrane Slides which are DNAse/RNAse free. Alternatively, you could expose the membrane slides to UV radiation according to your instruments specifications - approx. 30 minutes at 254nm ( there are also test strips available to determine exposure time for your instrument ).
