Do you know if the Passive Lysis 5X Buffer that Promega produce has these components? I always use it to lysate transfected cells and measure lucierase activity and now I'm wondering if these lysates work for Mass spectrometry of proteins that contains phosphorylations.
Thank you Rabee, but the answers just say that Promega don't give the information. There is a data sheet attached for the Luciferase assay system that only gives this info:
"PLB contains an anti-foam agent, which prevents excessive bubbling of the sample when the reagent is delivered with force by an automated dispenser".
So I wonder if some of you know the composition... or if some of you have made Mass Spect from lysates made with this Buffer.
... or maybe I should ask directly to Promega.
