I am modelling a concrete beam column joint using Abaqus . The concrete is modelled as 3D solid element (C3D8R) while reinforcement was modelled as Truss element (T3D2). The bond slip was considered only between the main reinforcements and concrete in the beam part only using translator connector while the embedded region constraint was used for the remaining main reinforcements and stirrups in column and the stirrups in beam. However, when translator connector i have this warning "A CONNECTOR TYPE AXIAL IS USED IN A GEOMETRICALLY LINEAR ANALYSIS. EXTRA CARE MUST BE EXERCISED IN INTERPRETING KINEMATIC OUTPUT VARIABLES (SUCH AS CU, CP, etc.) ASSOCIATED WITH THIS ELEMENT. AS A CONSEQUENCE, CONNECTOR STOPS/LOCKS AND KINETIC BEHAVIOR FOR THIS ELEMENT MAY BE DIFFICULT TO INTERPRET" for each created connector and analysis aborted from beginning.
