I have a commercial qualitative ELISA KIT, but it does not have a standard, there is no commercial standard for this protein, and I need a quantitative estimation. Does anyone have an idea?
Obviously you are not going to be able to quantify in terms of actual amount of the antigen, but you could standardize against some some standard condition and call that you're 100% standard. Even better might be if you prepared many aliquots of your "standard" so you are always using exactly the same amount each time and then all your experimental values will be some percent of that standard.
