Thanks alot for your answer, I've already reviewed these papers and some of the similar ones, but I'm wondering if there might be some limitations and differences between ordinary steel coupling beams and the RBS beams. I'm searching for the instructions which in specifically the RBS beams are mentioned.

I've reviewed FEMA 350 but it's only describing the RBS connections to steel columns.

I understand what you mean. Unfortunately, it is not something that I have come across. If I do find something, I will definitely let you know. I note that a lot research on this topic has been carried out under seismic loading.
