We are using SHIMADZHU UV-1800 spectrophotometer in our laboratory. The UV probe 2.34 version software was installed in desktop, which runs with windows XP. Our existing UV probe software is not compatible with Windows 7 operating system. Is there any link to download the UV probe software for Windows 7. Could you share?

Version 2.42 seems to work well on Windows 10. As for the product key, just copy from the Word doc in the RAR file.
One can try to install and/or run this software in compatibility mode of Windows 7.
Firstly - try to run this software, installed normally (if possible) but choosing compatibility mode (after right-mouse click on icon).
If this not working, then try to install whole package in compatibility mode (including all drivers) and try to run it normally.
If this fail also, try to run in compatibility mode software installed in compatibility mode.
One should choose compatibility with Windows XP, and installation should be run with administrative privileges.
I'm afraid, updates for this software isn't publicly available, so in case of unsuccessful run on all ways in Windows 7, one should consider purchasing new licence. Another way is to contact your vendor and report issue to them, invoking advice.

@Chee Pin Tan, I have a problem with the USB to COM port installation. I install the UVProbe 2.4.2 in Win7.
