I am trying to cross link my protein of interest to see if it homodimerizes when phosphorylated and does not when not phosphorylated. We can stimulate autophosphorylation in living cells.
I was given an aliquot of DSS (disuccinimidyl suberate) recently. I am hoping to avoid a lot of costly trial and error as far as getting the right reaction conditions.
I am hoping to get a protocol that specifies the plating format and cell density and reagent concentration and generally all of the reaction conditions for cross linking with DSS in adherent intact cells.

Hi. I'm sorry I don't have the answer to this question - I am trying to find the same thing out myself.
Did you manage to find a protocol for this? I would be really grateful if you could share any tips you came across!
