I am working right now on methods for controlling recovery in sports. Since biomarkers are often way too expensive, I wanted to know if anyone knows a -validated- scale for monitoring recovery. I found Kentta & Hassmen TQR (total quality recovery) rather cumbersome, and another scale (Laurent CM, Green JM, et al, A practical approach to monitoring recovery: development of a perceived recovery status scale, J Strength Cond Res. 2011 Mar;25(3):620-8) looks promising but is not validated. Thanks in advance for any suggestion.
