We're doing karyotyping in mammary cancer cells, but it is really difficult to count chromosome number accurately.. The autossomes are all acrocentrics and tiny, requiring a long time to take pics and find good metaphases. 

I would like to know if someone could help me with a better way to spread chromosomes, and provide some tips to facilitate counting.
