The problems you going to face is the accumulation of CH2.Ch2 you need to get rid of it by AVG or any oxidant compound to convert it to ethylene glycol, besides you need to reduce the cut surfaces as adequate as possible
If the scion is well joined with the rootstock, and as long as there is no growth of the rootstock buds (you have to remove those), then the scion should grow. You may have to incorporate some cytokinin if there is no growth.

Almost 15% of them reach the height of 3-5 cm or more. 30% of them 1-3 cm and more than 50% 1 cm or less within 2 months in vitro. I transferred the small ones to MS with 1mg/l BA. They are still happy to be small... Even the new buds emerged from the rootstock:)) I will try your protocol this time. Thank you .
