Dear researchers, I'm trying to prepare a molecular imprited polyer(MIP), my template contains a long alkane group, I tried to synthesize a molecularly imprinted polymer layer on my support material using methacrylamide as the functional monomer and ethanol as the solvent by precipitation, but failed.I encountered the following problems during the experiment:

1、NIP is easy to synthesize and the polymerization is too fast within a hour, however, under the same experimental conditions,  MIP is difficult to form.

2、When I raised the temperature,I can get molecular imprinted polymer after about 1 hour, but the adsorption capacity of MIP and NIP were too small or none.

3、The polymerization reaction is in two states, either not occurred or too acutely.
