Due to different photoperiod such as under 12L-12D, short day, long day, LL and DD condition the fishes were showed different clock gene expression on particular fish pineal. I am working on catfish pineal clock gene expression, I wanted to know that Zebrafish, European seabass, Atlantic salmon, Gold fish and so on fishes has pineal clock gene expression,among the all fishes has same expression of clock gene on pineal organ or different different expression pattern? I have focused mainly fish pineal organ not any others peripheral tissues. I have a bit confusion is that catfish including all other fishes will show the same clock gene expression pattern or some different pattern.
This clock gene expression vary from lower vertebrate to higher vertebrate. Let me know among the fishes would be any changes the pineal clock gene expression due to above photoperiod conditions.

Your question is a little hard to understand, but in general, the expression of clock genes in fish pineal would change with changing photoperiods. There may be small interspecific differences in the pattern of expression, and it also depends on the genus's common habitat. However, I don't think the pattern in freshwater catfish would be very different from other fish. Have you done a clustalW/pBLAST between cartilaginous and bony fishes?
