The R&D branch is expanding. Do you think we may speak of the overproduction of scientitic results? By overproduction I mean the situation when both researchers and practitioners may not be able to 'consume', benefit from and implement the scientific results/discoveries/inventions etc. If yes how to change this so that scientific work is more time- and cost-effective?
This is true everywhere, but you are absolutely correct Professor Agnieszka Kolodziej-Durnas . This abundance is markedly obvious in research. If we have more scientists working today and they have discovered more in the last quarter century than in the rest of the history of humanity how can humans who have evolved in scarcity and are well equipped to creatively deal with undersupply cope with research affluence? If 90% of all scientists are alive today(1.), and they have better tools, tech, and ability to publish than ever. then we need a massive update of every field in science from primary school to post-graduate studies. Combine this with all the defunct theories that have been repeated so many times that the Illusionary Truth fallacy(2.) kicks in and people believe with passion that these de-moded disproven ideas are god's truth even when they have seen that they have not worked. Sorry, a bit like both sides of the Covid vaccines;-).
