I expect dispersibility is meant. One should avoid confusion of terms. Unfortunately it is often asked how to best 'dissolve' particles but 'disperse' is meant.

I have sent a similar comment to one of the authors, he answered me as follows:
Yes, you are of course correct. This paper was written in 1999 and published in 2000. At that time there was still a lot of discussion about the terms to use. Of course, it is know well-known that small quantities of carbon nanotubes can be soluble in organic solvents (Smalley work), but this term should never be used for dispersion in water.
Regardless, I believe that for any solvent it is better to use disperse-ability of stability or something similar.
