Green synthesis is a method which used plant materials and organism. Do you know manuscript that report minimum time (15 or 30 min or maximum 1 hour) of reaction for biosynthesis of silver nano-particles without any apply of heat or chemical supplement.

During my research, I came across a few plants with very rapid reaction rates (just a few minutes). Unfortunately, with plants that shows rapid synthesis rates, there is mostly an issue with nanoparticle stability thats why we didnt went on to pursue those plants for further synthesis. I have also seen a few published articles that reported biosynthesis within minutues but unfortunately, I didnt save them.

In my case I did green synthesis with various parts of many plants. There I found that if I put hot plant extracts drop wise without magnetic stirrer and without any other chemical supplement, I noticed color change within 1 hour. But they were not stable. And I think time period of synthesis differs from plant to plant and of course differ in their parts (fruits, roots, pods, leaves or stem) because of different types of secondary metabolites present in them. We need to optimize the parameters like time, temperature and salt concentrations to get the results. I did get green synthesis in 15 mins for gold nanoparticles not with silver.
