We have plasmid DNA molecules that we would like to transfect in vivo into mice. Our target tissue is the lungs. We can either transfect them using intratracheal intubation or by intranasal delivery. We don't mind what the carrier method will be (for example, PEI, nanoparticles etc). Do you know of any commercially available low-cost solution for this?

I´ve never done direct transfection in vivo. If you have facilities to do Lentivirus, they are quite easy to produce but a little bit harder to purify but thats according what you want to do. I know several groups working with LV without purifying for in vivo test. Good luck!
Thanks for the paper! Its interesting but from what I understand, it is very difficult for this method to be applied to lungs. We have lentiviral facilities but I do not want to use that, I would prefer to directly transfect the plasmid!
