We are trying to differentiate oligodendrocyte precursor cells from rat in culture, and due to technical issues we should not use a trace of ethanol. As the T4 and progesterone hormones are always present in the differentiation medium, does anyone have an idea of a differentiation medium without T4 and progesterone? Or a different solvent for the preparation of the aliquots of these hormones?
